Approaches about governance, not customer accounts

I am glad to hear from a chair, a nominating committee or an authorised search adviser about one independent board or committee role. A short note covering the company's operations, its ownership and listing status, the committee where my contribution would sit and the expected calendar would let me judge quickly whether a first conversation is worthwhile. If data security, personal information or safety records are behind the approach, a general description is enough at this stage. Please do not send customer, driver or trading data, or confidential board papers, before a proper process exists. I remain chief data officer of Hanxiyuan Energy Services, so any role needs my employer's and shareholder group's approval and a check of relationships with our customers, suppliers and data buyers. Questions about electricity contracts, charging accounts or billing should go to Hanxiyuan's customer teams, not to me.
