Tell me which system your company cannot lose

A useful first message would tell me what the company does, which of its systems or facilities it cannot afford to lose, and why its board is looking for an operating perspective now. If the approach follows an incident, a short description of its effect is more helpful than the technical detail, which can wait for a confidential discussion. Please also say whether the company buys from, supplies or competes with Haolinjiang Data Services, because I will need to check that before anything else. I would welcome a conversation with the chair, a nomination committee member or an appointed search adviser. Requests for capacity, prices or a hosting site visit should go to Haolinjiang's sales team, and questions from existing customers to their account managers; I will not handle those through this page. Any discussion about a board role would need my employer's consent before it went further.
