Introductions from chairs and their advisers

If your board is weighing an investment in an app, a rewards programme or store technology and wants a director who has run product and engineering, I would welcome a short note describing the decision, the company's ownership and the committee you have in mind. A chair or a search consultant acting for the board is the right first contact. I read every introduction myself and reply within two weeks, though I will need my chief executive's consent and a conflicts review before any second conversation. Please do not send customer data, vendor contracts or board papers at this stage. I cannot help with Tolvercroft orders, contractor accounts, pickup problems or supplier proposals; those reach the right people through our stores and our trade desk. I am also not taking on paid consulting work while I remain in my current role.
