Tell me what the board needs to understand

A chair or search adviser writing to me should explain the company's products, ownership and regulatory position, and why the board wants product experience now. Tell me which committee you have in mind and the meeting calendar for the coming year. If the company makes or sells orthopaedic products, or buys from or sells to Merlicourt, please say so in the first paragraph; it will probably end the conversation, and it is better for both of us to know quickly. Please do not send confidential product plans, clinical data or patient information at this stage. Hospital staff asking about our recovery app, and surgeons with questions about an implant or instrument, should contact our customer and clinical teams, who can answer properly and record the enquiry. I read every introduction myself and will reply, even when my answer is no.
