What does the resident need to do in the room?
I would start with a fictional sixty-square-metre shared workroom and ask participants to distinguish private calls, quiet focus and occasional events before judging the amenity description. The twenty-eight-person research would make the conflict concrete without being treated as a complete market survey. We would compare retaining one larger room with developing two thirty-square-metre rooms, including the event use surrendered by the second choice. I would leave architectural and acoustic assessment with the relevant specialists rather than present a product brief as technical approval. The proposed workshop uses invented material and requests no resident records. It has no delivered-event history. Participants would practise writing a choice that names the intended activities, the displaced use and the further work needed. The purpose is to improve the product question before the attractive word flexible becomes a promise that residents are expected to reconcile themselves. A final exchange would consider how the choice should be explained to the operating team that will later manage the space.
