Chief Data Officer Europe
How to reach me, and what I will not discuss
A landlord's data is fair only when the tenant it affects could check it.
Three kinds of message reach me most usefully. A search partner or a supervisory board chair considering me for a seat should tell me the company, its shareholders, the committees involved and any dealings it has with Haselwerder or with landlords, valuers or metering providers, because I check conflicts before I agree to meet. Data officers, valuers and housing managers who want to compare methods for rent comparisons, heating information, condition records or retention schedules are welcome too; several of my better ideas began as someone else's objection. And I accept a few speaking invitations each year from housing, valuation and data-protection audiences.
There are matters I cannot discuss: Haselwerder's unpublished results or valuations, individual tenants' circumstances, negotiations with towns or tenant groups, and anything a capital-market participant would treat as inside information. I am not exploring executive roles elsewhere. I answer every serious message myself, normally within ten working days, in German or English.
