The most useful message I receive names a problem. If you chair a nominating committee and are considering someone for a risk or technology committee at an organisation outside lending, tell me what the board feels it cannot yet see. If you are organising a session on mortgage renewal risk, model inventories, fairness testing or customer data under consumer-driven banking, tell me who will be in the room and what they disagree about.
