Chief Operating Officer Australia

Where to send each kind of message

A rural electricity network earns trust on its worst fire day and its longest storm night, and both are mostly decided months before either arrives.

Most messages that reach me through this site fall into one of three groups, and I can help with two of them. If you chair or sit on the nomination committee of a regional utility, a contracting business or a transport operator and want to discuss a non-executive role, please write with the organisation's name, the committee you have in mind and any dealings it has with Wyndarra. If you lead operations or emergency management at another network, a water utility or a fire agency, I am glad to compare notes on fire-day rules, storm restoration or contractor arrangements, and I will point you to what Wyndarra has already published. If you are a Wyndarra customer with a fault, an outage or a claim for spoiled food or damaged equipment, I cannot deal with it here; please call our faults line or use the claims form on Wyndarra's website, where someone can act on it the same day. I do not meet suppliers of vegetation, inspection or drone services outside our procurement process, and I am not considering executive roles.
