James TarlingtonChief Data Officer

Chief Data Officer Australia

Begin with the question your board is facing

I measure machine and factory data by the decision it changes for a grower, a dealer or an assembler.

If your board is considering a director with experience of machine, product or customer data, a short description of the company, its ownership and the committee you have in mind is enough for a first exchange. It helps to know what prompted the search: a new use of data, a consent question, a quality problem across sites or a gap the board has noticed in its own reporting. Please do not send grower, customer or employee records at this stage. I remain chief data officer of Callowdene Machinery, so any role would need my managing director's consent and a check of relationships with our customers, dealers and suppliers. Questions about machines, parts, warranty claims or telemetry accounts should go to a Callowdene branch or dealer, which can act on them; this page is for board and governance conversations only.
