Introduce a board vacancy or an operating question

A short note is enough to begin. Tell me the organisation, who owns or governs it and which committee has a vacancy, and describe the operating questions the board finds hardest to examine, whether outsourcing, continuity, fraud or service across regions. If a search firm is acting for you, I am glad to speak with the partner first. I would need my own board's consent before accepting anything, so early conversations are exploratory, and I will say plainly if a supplier or member relationship rules me out.
