Chief Technology Officer United States
A note on the company and the committee is enough
I connect a water utility's plants to central control only when the operators, the records and the network can each bear the connection.
If your board or search firm is considering a director with plant-technology experience, a short note on the company, its ownership, the committee in question and the reason for the search is the right starting point. I read every such note myself and reply within a week. I cannot discuss Halverick's systems, vendors, security arrangements or acquisition plans, and I will decline any conversation that seems to want them. Vendors offering products, integrators seeking work and anyone with a billing or service question about their water supply should contact the company directly rather than through this page. I am not available for paid advisory work while I remain an executive. A first conversation would be exploratory on both sides, and any next step would wait for my chief executive's consent and a review of the relationships I have described on this site.
